Jesus Speaks To His Mother
Jesus Dies On The cross

We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing beside her, he said to his mother.  ‘Woman, here is your son.’  Then He said to the disciple, ‘Here is your Mother.’  And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home.

John 19: 26-27

It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, while the sun’s light failed, and the curtain of the temple was torn in two.  Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, ‘Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.’  Having said this, He breathed His last.

Luke 23: 44-46

O Mother of my Saviour,
you stand beside your Son.
With love beyond all telling,
you share his grief as one.
How shall I know your sorrow,
your tears beyond compare?
Deep in my heart stand watching,
and call my memory there.

Hail Mary full of grace, Our Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Amen
