The Second Station
Jesus is made to carry his Cross

We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You.

Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. John 19:17

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

your Kingdom come, your will be done,

on earth as in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our sins as we forgive those

who sin against us.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours

now and for ever. 

Jesus Christ Crucified.
