The Eighth Station
Jesus speaks to the women of Jerusalem
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. Jesus turned and said to them, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children.
Luke 23:27-28
Hail Mary full of grace, Our Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
