The Parish of Canvey Island
Taking seriously the words of Jesus.

PLEASE NOTE -  WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF UPDATING OUR WEBSITE.  WE APOLOGISE IF YOU CANNOT FIND WHAT YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR TODAY.

Go, therefore and make disciples of all the nations. Baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey all that I have commanded you.  Surely I am with you always to the end of the age.

Matthew 28: 19

The Parish of Canvey Island is part of the Diocese of Chelmsford within the Church of England. We are home to over 38,000 people and are served by three churches: St Anne's; St Katherine's and St Nicholas' - each with its own distinct identity and worship style. Although the parish is large there is a strong sense of community.  You are invited to services, where you may be assured of a warm welcome; we are an Inclusive Church.

This parish offers far more than just a place of worship. During the week many activities take place, including social events, concerts and youth activities.

Yours in Christ,

The Ministry Team of Canvey Island
